アモキシシリン／クラブラン酸（オーグメンチン）の抗結核剤として有用性

結核菌が他の遅発型発育抗酸菌に比較して強いβﾗｸﾀﾏｰｾﾞ活性を有し ている。 アモキシリン、クラブラン酸単独では殺菌作用は示さないが、両者（オーグメンチン）を同時に使うと臨床濃度で結核菌に対して殺菌作用を発揮することが報告されている。 臨床的にも排菌の消失、画像上の改善、臨床症状の改善などが報告されている。
